Why we are better than the competition.

Boxes are rebuildable. The system can be completely repaired and maintained on site. This means that there is no down time due to removal of equipment to a repair facility.

This product is constructed of 18 gage 1018 Cold Rolled Steel. Most products on the market today are constructed of 20 gage Hot Rolled Steel and can be breached with a screwdriver.

These units are powder coated for durability. Similar products on the market are wet painted and the finish degrades over a short time.

The Cash Protection System of "Drop Boxes" and support equipment supports a variety of lock manufacturers. This versatility allows the customer to define the level of security required.

ACCOUNTABILITY
The CPS Inc., Drop Box System, is the only system that provides direct accountability from the customer's hand until counted by the bookkeeper. This translates into dramatic reductions in unexplained losses and the apprehension of bad employees.

EVENT TRACKING
This system allows "Event Tracking" by the loss prevention department. If a company using the CPS Drop Box System requires and incident report for each lost cash event and overlays that data to employee time schedules and teller receipts, the resulting tracking information helps reveal employee theft and will identify the thief in most cases.

MULTIPLE KEYS
Two or more keys are required. The system provides for a two or three stage entry system. One key releases the unit from the mounted sleeve at the check stand. Access to the boxes content is gained by use of one or two additional keys, depending on the level of security required by the customer. Using two access keys assures that at least two persons are present to count the funds and verify contents.

TIME SAVER
The CPS, Drop Box System was designed as a time saving product. Because of the direct accountability aspects of the design, it does not require pickups from the manager during the normal course of business. The cashiers make the drops into the unit when prompted by the register. They do not hand currency or require signatures from the manager for every drop. Not only does this system allow the management to concentrate on other more profitable tasks, but also reduces cash vulnerability as the cashiers can drop when it's needed, not when the manager is available.

THE SHELL GAME
The system uses the oldest game in the book to protect assets, "The Shell Game". A unit is placed at every check stand. The keys are kept in a time safe. Any thief will have to guess which units have been used throughout the day and then gain access to enough units to be worth the risk. It is for this reason that many major chains choose to leave the funds in these units until the last possible moment before counting and preparing for armored pickup. This use of the shell game is recommended for any store that is manned on 24-hour basis.
